Before
you decide to pick the kind of Cloud service model to use in the implementation
and operation of your business it is important to have a glimpse on what these
two major types of Cloud service models. Basically, every business organization
can have the freedom to choose the one that they think works best for them. But
the big question is this: Should you go for the Private Cloud Service or should
you opt for a Public Cloud Service?
When we say ‘public’ this simply
means that it is offered for public use and consumption. This is what this kind
of Cloud service model entails. With a public type of Cloud service you can
just have to make use of the Cloud tools and resources without the need to pay
for the services you have used. All you have to do is sign up and you are good
to go to use whatever the Cloud service provider offers.
While this is something that
proves to be very beneficial especially to those who do not want to pay for a
particular service, we cannot deny the fact that a public type Cloud service is
something that is questioned when it comes to the security of the files,
documents and information that you have entered in its portal. So, if you are
running a business that has very sensitive information then it would not be a
good idea to opt for a public type Cloud service which can be easily hacked by
anyone.
On the otherhand, a Private Cloud
Service is something that works with a particular business organization in a
private and confidential way. This is because once a business subscribes for a
private type Cloud service, the CSP in return will work with the business in
question only. Now this is really something effective for a business that looks
for a way to help in the tight security and protection of whatever information
it wants to keep all by itself.
The only downside of using a
private type of Cloud service is the fact that it is more expensive and in
fact, it can cost you much along the way. However, what is the amount of money
that you will have to spend for a Cloud service that can actually secure,
protect and keep your business information from the eyes of anyone out there
who can bring harm and problems to your operations?
Now is the time to decide.
